Humans have a weird fascination with terror (horror films, roller coasters, cliff jumping, etc.). So in the spirit of “Spooky Season,” we will provide you a list of 13 haunted attractions that you have to visit (or don’t).

13. Doll Town, Japan

Life-size dolls outnumber the human residents of this ghost town. Artist, Tsukimi Ayano, began making lifelike dolls to replace deceased villagers as the population started to decline. The small town, Nagoro, became a tourist attraction as the population dwindled to 35 people and, now, 350 dolls.

The dolls are placed throughout the village, and they are showcased performing normal activities; i.e., yard work, chilling in hallways, raising its hand in a classroom, sitting outside the general store, etc. This place seems pretty neat until you leave the room and one of the dolls is no longer there when you return. Just check out the Google images of this totally creepy town.
